Guinness Book Of Records 2007

Rachel of the Jumping Jewels made an attempt at the Guinness Book Of Records in March 2007 by trying to jump 153 or more jump in 30s at Health Promotion Board. This is in conjunction with HPD's Criss Cross Break The Record Challenge where two Jumping Jewels won the primary and secondary challenge. They hold the records till 2009 and Rachel is recorded by Singapore Book Of Records as the fastest criss crosser.

Jumping Jewels is opening ceremony show for SPH "Health & You"

Singapore Press Holding wanted the best rope skipping show for their openinng ceremony GOH minister Balaji. After a witch hunt they hired the Jumping Jewels rope skipping team. The performance was featured in the Strait Times the next day, 7th June 2008.

Jumping Jewels win 3rd place at the 2006 Kids Central TV "One Minute Of Fame"

The Jumping Jewels entralled the kids in Singapore with their mesmerising rope skipping. That was in Sept 2006 and the TV telecast was on 24th Oct 2006. Till today in 2008 they are still recognized on the streets as the Jumping Jewels of One Minute Of Fame.

The PLMGS(P) rope skipping team performed a rope skipping pantomine telling a story of the evolution of rope skipping from playground, PE, exercise, sport to human circus in Singapore.
After the open ceremony performance GOH minister Vivian Balakrishnan invited the team to the VIP reception. The performance was so entertaining that the Strait Times published an action photo of the team the next day, 26th Nov 2006. More.

The 2006 NDP was the last one at Kallang stadium. 40 rope skippers from Rope Skipping Singapore where part of the Fringe Celebration activities that welcome spectators as they entered the stadium. 20 skippers where on the stage performaning outside the main stadium gate and another 20 skipped among the crowds. We had the youngest performer ever at NDP, - 9 year old Ariel from the Jumping Jewels.

International Olympic Committee Sessions Exhibition performances 2005

Rope Skipping Singapore gave 6 sparkling rope skipping performances from 2nd to 10th July 2005 at the Olympic Exhibition at the Raffles City atrium. The SSC event was in conjunction with the 33rd IOC Sessions in Singapore. This was the first public performance of Freestyle Double Dutch in Singapore, the first to feature a team of teenage rope skippers and the first professional rope skipping job. More.
