Rope Skipping Singapore has always been a catalyst for rope skipping development, introducing new trends that have created and led the Singapore rope skipping industry.

Introduced Jump Aerobics to schools in 2000. The first was at Pearl's Hill primary school's TAF recess workouts.

Introduced the first free public rope skipping practice at AerobicsWorld in 2000

Introduced Traveller rope skipping choreography in 2000.


Introduced form fitting sport rope skipping attire in 2001. First worn by Sembawang primary school team.

Introduced mixing music for rope skipping competition in 2001.


Introduced long handle freestyle ropes in 2003.

Introduced training with speed balls in 2003.

Introduced cable speed ropes to competition in 2003 at the Primary School Championships.

Introduced a 7 year-old competitor in 2004 at the Primary School Championships. With her sister they won the Jnr Girls' Div that year. The next year they again single-handedly won the Snr Girls' Div. Skippers this young never featured in National level competitions before this.

Introduced competing overseas in 2004 at the 2nd Asian Championship. Have coached all overseas teams since then.

Introduced wearing team tracksuits for competitions in 2004.

Introduced the first team of teenage skippers at the IOC sessions exhibition performances in 2005. This was also the first professional rope skipping performance.

Introduced double dutch freestyle in 2005 at the IOC sessions exhibition.

Introduced double dutch cotton ropes in 2005.

Introduced synchronized cartwheels in 2005.

Introduced rope skipping camps in 2005 at Rope Skipping Singapore.

Introduced secondary school rope skipping competition, the AW Masters 2006.

Introduced the first set of National rope skipping records in 2006 and the first Guinness attempt in 2007.

Introduced large scale rope skipping performance at the National Day Fringe Celebrations 2006 where 40 skippers performed together in front of the National Stadium.

Introduced compression tubes in 2007.

Introduced color ankle bands for speed skipping events at the primary school Nationals 2007.

Introduced Fusion double dutch by competing at the fusion DDCJ contest in Japan in 2008


Introduced handle releases, wraps and scoops in skipping choreography 2008.

Introduced combination gymnastic moves in 2008.

Introduced and developed speed training (world's first) with Jump Counters in 2009.

Introduced and developed training with Jump Boards in 2009.

Introduced "Chinese Wheel Traveller" skipping at the President Star Charity TV show in 2009.

Introduced "Double Dutch Traveller" (world's first) skipping at the Asian Championship in Hong Kong in 2009.

Introduced "Sushi Chinese Wheel" skipping at the Asian Championship in Hong Kong in 2009.

Introduced Fusion to TV at the One Minute of Fame, Okto Live! and President Star Charity TV shows in 2009.

Introduced brand sponsorship for a rope skipping team in 2009.

Introduced rope skipping tank tops for competition first worn by Singapore team (Firecrackers) at Asian Championship 2009.

2010, 24th Jan ~ Hosted the first professional coach meeting at Rope Skipping Singapore. All rope skipping coaches agreed to have more meetings.

2010, 27th Jan ~ Official launch of JumpCounters for professional coach use (world's first), at Rope Skipping Singapore.

2010, 27th Jan ~ Introduced rope skipping gloves (world's first).

2010, 3-4 July ~ Organizing the first international competition in Singapore, the 24 HR DOUBLE DUTCH SPEED.

2010, 14-18 June ~ Coaching the first Asian rope skipping workshop in India with our head coach and a skipping team.

2010, 21 May ~ Introduced the first Speed Display system for competition and training in Asia.
