Camp 2010
Rope Skipping
Singapore has been
conducting camps since 2005 when we prepared the Singapore Team
for the 3rd Asian Rope Skipping Championships in Malaysia. This was
followed by
camps for the International Double Dutch Championships team in 2007 and
the Junior Olympics team in 2008. In 2010 we conducted the Asian Rope
Skipping
Workshop camp in India and Rope Skipping Camp 2010 in Singapore.
Camps are essentially back to back workshops with overnight layover(s)
and
are jam packed with information. High level workshops can be judge
certification
courses or technical training for competitors to enrichment lessons for
begineers.
Rope Skipping
Singapore in Tampines boasts the latest coaching equipment/techniques
and Singapore's only dedicated rope skipping
training
facility. Conducively located in a neighborhood center and
airconditioned there is no better choice for a quality
camp venue. While we offer our workshops/camps overseas we also welcome
overseas skippers interested to come to Singapore to train at our
facility.

Rope Skipping Singapore lead by Roger
Yue and the Jumping Jewels conducted the workshops and courses at the
Asian Rope Skipping Workshop 2010 at Amritsar, India in June. This was
a
huge camp of almost 200 registered participants mostly from the Indian
continent region. More than
50 of these attended this
judge certification course seen here. This is the first time two rope
skipping associations have worked together to improve the technical
ability in Asia. Jump Rope Federation of India and Rope Skipping
Singapore are thoroughly inspired to conduct more Asian workshops.
