| Event: 12U Workshop in conjunction with DDCS. Workshop content: Dynamic double dutch and single rope skipping. Workshop coaches Shaun Hamilton and Nick Woodard: Shaun Hamilton and Nick Woodard are two jumpers from the United States who have dedicated their lives to growing the sport of jump rope. Mr. Hamilton has been jumping, competing and traveling around the world teaching workshops and camps for 22 years. While competing he won several national titles and a World Championship in 1999. Mr. Hamilton also served 6 years on the USA Jump Rope Board of Directors where he; founded and coached the USA All Star Team, became Team USA Head Coach, and served on the competition rules committee. Currently Mr. Hamilton serves as the World Jump Rope Chairman. Mr. Woodard has been by his side for 18 years teaching, competing, and doing shows around the world. While competing he won 5 national titles and a World Championship in 2006 and 2011. Additionally, he was with the USA Jump Rope All Star Team 2004-2008 and has performed jump rope with Cirque du Solei. Nick has earned a reputation of being a great athlete, leader and teacher in the sport of jump rope around the globe. Currently, Mr. Woodard serves is a World Jump Rope Ambassador. Both Shaun and Nick have appeared in numerous local, national, and international newspapers, magazines and television media outlets. In addition they have also performed jump rope and worked for the National Basketball Association (NBA) Houston Rockets team as jump rope entertainers for 9 years. Their travel’s have taken them to over 24 different countries that include Brazil, France, China, Japan, Kenya, Tanzania, Cyprus, Belgium to name a few.
